How does the Facebook app work?
Our Facebook App allows you to deliver your auction listing content directly to your Facebook business page. The information is provided via a data feed. This allows clients to market their auction via Facebook. However, all member registrations and bidding take place on the auction website.
How long does it take to get my auction up and running?
AuctionAnything.com can typically have a fundraising auction up and running within 1 business day. For business clients, we strive to deliver 2 business days from the time the domain resolves.
Why do I have to "sign-up" for a demo?
AuctionAnything.com prefers to vet all leads to maintain the integrity of the demo site. Your registration for the demo will not add you to any mailing or calling lists. If you prefer not to be contacted by phone, simply state in the notes that you prefer no phone contact.
02. Hosting
Can I host the auction myself?
No, we are online auction software provider and host all our client websites. The auction system is managed via the Internet and there is no software to install and maintain.
How much traffic can your system handle?
AuctionAnything.com operates multiple redundant servers which are all load balanced to provide the fastest response to bidding requests. We have hosted many large scale events and monthly auctions over the last 25 years.
Do you bill us for the number of monthly visits?
No, you are billed primarily based on the number of listings, not the number of bids or any percentage of your total auction sales. Your costs are fixed and can be determined prior to your auction event running.
Is there a way I can check on the status of your network?
Yes, our network is monitored by an independent service from across the country, you can see the status by clicking here.
03. Administration
Is there any software I need to download to manage my auction?
No, all of the auction administration takes place securely through your browser. All you need is an Internet connection, a computer and a web browser.
Do you manage my listings and images?
AuctionAnything.com hosts your website and you manage the content. Upload your images and auction listings to our servers in bulk or one-at-a-time.
What do we do if our auction administrator changes?
Fundraising clients sometimes experience auction manager turnover. We recommend that the outgoing admin provide the new admin with the Username and Password. This allows the new admin to easily update the associated contact profile within the system and change the password.
Can I change the design, logo and colors of the site?
You have complete control over the design and content of your auction site. Many non-profits change their logo based on the event. In addition, the design is template driven with multiple modules which may be customized to your liking.
04. Pricing Plans
What is the difference between the fundraising and business products?
Business clients typically require monthly service throughout the year, whereas fundraising clients run "events" which normally occur once or twice during the year.
What is the difference between the business and enterprise products?
Enterprise clients normally require API access and/or custom integration with internal systems. In addition, enterprise clients are typically operating a high volumes.
Do you offer a discount for non-profit clients?
Since almost all of our fundraising clients are either a 501c3, or raising money for a non-profit organization, we have already priced our product at a discount.
When do we pay for our auction?
The one-time setup fee is billed upon the completion of the setup process, but prior to the auction start. Event fees are billed after the close of the auction . Monthly fees are billed at the beginning of the month. We accept all major credit cards.
